A disturbance cutting across our region will bring occasional snow showers with it. These snow showers will coat the ground with minor accumulations on the order of a dusting to an inch. Snow ends late Wednesday morning, with some sun returning in the afternoon. We'll catch a brief warmup Thursday before another weak front arrives with a little light rain and wet snow Thursday night. A more potent storm system cutting across the Deep South over the weekend bears watching for significant snow potential, especially Saturday night through Monday morning. Depending on track and temperature, we could see a variety of wintry weather through that time period.
