...WINTRY MIX WITH MINOR SNOW/ICE ACCUMULATION POSSIBLE LATE SATURDAY NIGHT/SUNDAY MORNING...
We start the weekend dry and cold before a potent storm system cutting across the Deep South sends some moisture our way Saturday night. Expect a light wintry mix to develop into the early morning hours of Sunday, especially along the KY/TN line. While we do NOT anticipate big snow or ice amounts, some minor accumulations are possible, especially over our south/southeastern sections. Areas to the north/northwest of Bowling Green will likely miss out on the wintry weather altogether this weekend. Beyond the weekend, look for a steady warming trend with rain returning Thursday.
