OHIO COUNTY, Ky. (WBKO) -- Two women are behind bars after allegedly exploiting an 84-year-old man financially in Ohio County.
Ohio County Deputies say they began an investigation back on Dec. 28, 2018 into the alleged exploitation of an adult.
Officials say that during the investigation, authorities determined that Molly Johnson and Janice Leek of Morgantown had financially exploited an 84-year-old man out of an undisclosed amount of money on one occasion and had tried to exploit the same man on a separate occasion.
The sheriff's department adds that the alleged incidents happened days after Christmas and that the women acted together.
Johnson and Leek were arrested in Morgantown and are facing a knowingly exploit adult by person charge of more than $300 dollars.
