1 beef brisket (approx. 3 lbs)
1 medium onion thin sliced
John Henry's Mojave Garlic Pepper
1 can beer
1 tomato based chili sauce
3/4 cup brown sugar
Directions1. Preheat the grill to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
2.Season the brisket on all sides with Mojave Garlic Pepper, and place in a metal baking dish. Cover with a layer of sliced onions. In a medium bowl, mix together the beer, chili sauce, and brown sugar. Pour over the brisket. Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil.
3.Bake for 3 hours in the preheated grill. Remove the aluminum foil, and bake for an additional 30 minutes. Great idea right here is to use pre-moistened wood chips in a smoker box. Let the brisket rest and cool slightly before slicing and returning to the dish.
