4 ripe tomatoes, sliced 1/4” thick
1 lb fresh Mozzarella cheese, sliced 1/4” thick
1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
salt and pepper to taste
***may add 1 red onion, sliced if desired
Directions1. On a platter, alternate slices of tomatoes and mozzarella.
2. Drizzle olive oil and vinegar over top.
3. Add chopped basil leaves, sprinkled on top.
4. Salt and pepper to taste.
5. Chill for 30 minutes to 1 hours before serving.
