LEXINGTON, Ky. (WBKO) --- PJ Washington scored 23 points and Keldon Johnson added 19 points as fifth-ranked Kentucky rolled to an impressive 86-69 victory over top-ranked Tennessee in college basketball Saturday night at Lexington, Kentucky.
The Wildcats trailed just once, during the opening minute of the game after a jumper by the Volunteers' Jordan Bone accounted for the opening points of the game.
Kentucky led 37-31 at halftime and had a strong second-half surge to push the lead to as many as 24 points.
Tyler Herro posted a double-double for the victorious Wildcats, scoring 15 points and grabbing 13 rebounds.
Kentucky is now 10-2 in SEC play and 21-overall.
