LEXINGTON, Ky. (WBKO) --- Eighth-ranked Kentucky rallied from a 33-30 halftime deficit to defeat Ninth-ranked Kansas 71-63 as part of the SEC-Big 12 Challenge Saturday night at Rupp Arena in Lexington.
Four Wildcats scored in double figures, led by P.J. Washington with 20 points. Washington also grabbed 13 rebounds and had two blocked shots.
Reid Travis also posted a double-double for the victorious Wildcats, scoring 18 points and snaring 12 rebounds. A third Kentucky starter, Keldon Johnson, also notched a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Ashton Hagans finished with 12 points.
Dedric Lawson led the Jayhawks with 20 points and 15 rebounds.
Kentucky is now 16-3 this season and returns to action Tuesday for an SEC road game against Vanderbilt.
