Forward Kobe Brown visits WKU

Kobe Brown, a 6-foot-7, 220-pound forward from Huntsville, Ala., visited Western Kentucky on Thursday for the program’s Hilltopper Hysteria event.

Brown is a senior at Lee High School where he’s considered a three-star prospect and No. 4 overall player in the state of Alabama, according to 247sports.com. He’s also rated the No. 75 overall prospect in the nation according to ESPN and reportedly has scholarship offers from Minnesota, Auburn, Mississippi, West Virginia, Baylor, Clemson, Florida State, Georgetown, Georgia Tech, Iowa state, Kansas, Kansas State, Louisville, Louisiana State, Massachusetts, Memphis, Missouri, Murray State, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Southern Mississippi, Tennessee, Texas Tech, Vanderbilt and Xavier.

The Class 5A player of the year in Alabama as a junior, Brown is also rated the No. 37 forward in the country by Rivals.com.
