WKU Football and first-year head coach Tyson Helton resume spring practices Tuesday.
But Coach Helton kept busy Monday as part of the first-ever "Helton Helps", aimed at community involvement by the Hilltoppers head coach, his coaching staff, and the Tops players.
Coach Helton spent time visiting with fans at Mister B's Pizza & Wings in Bowling Green. The Hilltoppers gridiron leader said he thoroughly enjoyed Monday as part of a community that he and his family are thrilled to be back and be a part of.
"We consider ourselves one big family. And you've got to be in the community. You've got to be out and about. You've got to show your support for, for Bowling Green and for Western Kentucky (University).", said Coach Helton. "And I think when the fans see that, they're willing to give back, as well. And what better to come than Mister B's (Pizza & Wings) for lunch hour. And get some pizza and some wings. And talk to some fans. And I thoroughly enjoyed it. Had a good time."
