HOUSTON, Texas (WBKO) --- WKU Men's Basketball rallied from a double-digit deficit in the second half to post a 92-85 double-overtime victory over Rice in college basketball on Thursday, February 7, at Tudor Fieldhouse in Houston, Texas.
Josh Anderson led the Hilltoppers with 24 points. Anderson also grabbed nine rebounds and had four steals.
Jared Savage added 21 points, including the Tops first 3-point field goal of the game, marking the 1,000the consecutive game that WKU Men's Basketball has recorded a three-point field goal.
Lamonte Bearden and Charles Bassey both posted double-doubles for the victorious Tops. Bearden finished with 16 points and 11 assists. Bassey added 10 points, 14 rebounds, and blocked five shots.
WKU Assistant Coach Marc Hsu served as the Hilltoppers interim head coach during Thursday night's game against the Owls. WKU Head Coach Rick Stansbury missed the game due to a back injury.
WKU is now 7-4 in C-USA play and 14-10 overall.
