BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) --- WKU Softball is just four days away from opening its 2019 regular season.
The Hilltoppers will take on Missouri State in their season opener Friday morning at 11 a.m. in Gulf Shores, Alabama.
Amy Tudor heads into her sixth season as the Hilltoppers head coach and returns a team that is coming off a 28-win season.
It's a group of players that includes former Warren East standout Kendall Smith and former South Warren star Shelby Nunn.
It's a roster that Coach Tudor has a high level of confidence in.
"I love my team's potential. I think that we have the right mindset. We have the right attitude'" said Coach Tudor. "Now it's our jobs as coaches to keep that attitude the same, no matter what. And, as leaders, no matter if someone else doesn't think we can win, we always think we can win."
