In the spirit of the holidays the Bowling Green Corvette plant is partnering with local organizations to make the season brighter for local families in need.
The plant made a $7,000 donation to the Salvation Army, Teen Angel and Foster Grandparents programs, along with a $2,500 check to the Children's Hospital Foundation with Kosair Children's Hospital.
This money will go toward purchasing needed gifts and re-stocking the salvation army food pantry.
In addition to the monetary donation, the Salvation Army was presented with a trailer full of gifts for 220 angels.
