Bowling Green defense attorney Alan Simpson agreed to sit down with WBKO for an interview to discuss the Timothy Madden case.
Simpson has over 20 years of experience, and has tried over 100 cases in court. Simpson is not involved with the case in any way at this time, but provided his legal expertise to help preview the case.
He says DNA will play a crucial role in this case, and the death penalty is a possibility.
"DNA can actually be the best eyewitness there is. When you don't have eyewitnesses or you have witnesses who are reluctant to testify, DNA will place a person with another person," Simpson said.
Madden will make his first court appearance Monday afternoon.
