It's been almost three days since the arrest of Timothy Madden. He is being charged with kidnapping, rape, sodomy and murder. Madden's first court appearance will be Monday at the Allen County Court House.

"I feel that the truth will prevail in the end. All facts will be brought to the case, and if our police department feels they are ready to proceed, then they will and I am behind them one hundred percent," Allen County resident Casey Freeman said.

The people of Scottsville are ready for the Timothy Madden case to begin.

"They got all the evidence and everything. The Kentucky State Police, the Allen County Sheriff and the city police have done an awesome job on it. It needs to go on forward like it is. He's going to get arraigned tomorrow, plead not guilty and get moved on up where they can indict him," Allen County Resident Keith Deitz said.

The shock of Gabriella Doolin's murder still lingers in the small town of Scottsville. Residents were shocked when they found out a member from their own community is being charged in connection with the case.

"It's really a shame a small community like this has to face this, but its happening everywhere. It tore this community apart so bad, but yet it brought it all together like it needed to do. And everybody is still standing for it," Dietz said.

Madden has made threats to the Kentucky State Police and other police departments for slandering his name.

"He knows how bad he tore his community up, Now he's somewhere where he's safe and nobody can get to him, so he's saying what he wants to say," Deitz said.

Ever since the arrest, the town of Scottsville seems to be calm.

"I feel that hopefully the Doolin family can get some peace, knowing that they are proceeding with this case, and the rest of the community can also get some rest as well," Freeman added.

But, there are questions that might not ever be answered.

"And for somebody who would do something like that to a little seven year old baby, you know all you can do is, God help him. I'm not supposed to judge anybody or nothing, but the facts lays out itself for what's happened and we know what needs to be done," Dietz said.

Of course with any case, Madden is innocent until proven guilty in the court of law.
