Kroger is expanding its rewards program for customers. Here’s what you should know
(WXIX/Gray News) - Kroger is expanding its reward program, offering a new way for customers to save.
For more than two decades, the Kroger fuel rewards program has allowed customers to save at the pump. But now, the program is expanding to in-store savings.
Kroger members can now start redeeming their Fuel Points, now just called Points, to save on groceries.
Shoppers can redeem up to 1,000 Points per day to get $10 off their entire grocery bill, in-store or online, and using pickup and delivery.
“We’re excited to help customers stretch their budgets and give more choices in how they use the rewards they earn shopping with us,” said Megan Shaffer, group vice president of customer growth and strategy at Kroger.
How do I redeem my Points?
You can redeem Points by opening your Kroger app, checking your Points balance and following the prompt from there.
Once the Points are redeemed, they will automatically be applied at your next checkout.
How much can I save?
Customers can save $10 per day on groceries and up to $35 per fill-up on gas, but the maximum fuel discount may vary by location.
Is there a limit to the amount of Points I can earn? Do they expire?
There is no limit to how many Points you can earn, but it is important to know that they do expire.
The more you shop, the more Points you earn. Depending on when you buy groceries, those Points will expire at the end of the following month.
