Barren County schools names Justin Browning Director of Instruction
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) Barren County Schools has named Justin Browning as its new Director of Instruction.
Browning currently serves as the district’s CTE & Innovation Coordinator and assistant principal at Barren County High School. His career spans classroom instruction, school leadership, and district-level administration.
He holds a Rank I in Educational Leadership from the University of the Cumberlands, a master’s in Educational Technology from Western Kentucky University, and a bachelor’s in Middle Grades Education from WKU.
“Justin has earned the respect of colleagues across our district because he’s thoughtful, collaborative, and always focused on what’s best for students,” said Superintendent Amy Irwin. “I have every confidence he’ll continue to move teaching and learning forward.”
“I’m honored by the trust that’s been placed in me and excited for the opportunity to continue serving the district that has shaped my life,” Browning said. “I’m committed to working alongside our educators to support great teaching and create opportunities for every student.”
In his new role, Browning will oversee instructional programs, support curriculum and professional learning initiatives, and work alongside school leaders to strengthen teaching and learning across the district.
