Richardsville Fire Department extinguishes barn fire in Bowling Green

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - On Sunday afternoon, Richardsville Fire Department responded to a structure fire on Anna Sandhill Road.

Upon arrival at the scene, a barn was found to be fully engulfed. Firefighters immediately began attacking the fire to get it under control.

As a result of the fire, five piglets and one sow were found deceased.

Four other piglets were saved from the fire.

The cause of the fire is believed to have been started by a heat lamp.
