2 winning Powerball tickets sold in Kentucky

FRANKLIN, Ky. (WBKO) - The recent Mega Millions and Powerball drawings produced winning tickets in Kentucky.

A $30,000 Mega Millions ticket was sold at Thorntons in Louisville from the Friday, March 13 drawing. The ticket matched four white balls and the Mega Ball, winning $10,000, but the ticket had the 3X Multiplier.

The Mega Millions numbers were 6, 19, 36, 40, 55 and the Mega Ball was 9.

A $50,000 Powerball ticket was sold at Casey’s General Store in Franklin from the Saturday, March 14 drawing. The ticket matched four white balls and the Powerball.

The Powerball numbers for March 14 were 9, 30, 42, 50, 52 and the Powerball was 21.

The Kentucky Lottery advises the winners to:

  • Sign the back of their tickets.
  • Keep them in a secure location.
  • Claim their prize within 180 days from the date of the drawing.

Winners must claim their prizes at lottery headquarters in Louisville. There was no winner of the Powerball Jackpot that is currently estimated at $88 million. The next drawing will take place at 11 p.m. EST on Monday, March 16.
