Shooting at Lexington park sends 1 to hospital

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A shooting at a Lexington park sent one person to the hospital Wednesday night.

According to the Lexington Police Department, officers were dispatched to Coolavin Park on the 500 block of West Sixth Street around 9:02 p.m.

Officers found a victim with a gunshot wound when they arrived at the scene.

The victim was taken to the hospital with reported non-life-threatening injuries.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
