(Gray News) — All travelers know the frustration of flight changes, but according to a new analysis, JetBlue is the worst U.S. airline for cancellations and delays.

The study analyzed more than 7 million domestic flights over 12 months, from June 2025 to May 2026.

The study found that JetBlue canceled or delayed nearly 30% of its scheduled flights, more than any other U.S. airline.

Below are the top 10 airlines with the most disruptions, including cancellations and delays:

  1. JetBlue Airways – 29.29%
  2. PSA Airlines – 29.26%
  3. Spirit Airlines – 29.11%
  4. Frontier Airlines – 28.88%
  5. American Airlines – 27.42%
  6. Allegiant Air – 26.27%
  7. Republic Airways – 25.31%
  8. Southwest Airlines – 23.56%
  9. Alaska Airlines – 22.77%
  10. SkyWest Airlines – 22.54%

The study notes that Spirit Airlines shut down for good in May 2026.

Delta Air Lines came out as the most reliable airline, canceling or delaying just over 20% of flights.
