Steve Riley files to run for the 23rd District of the Kentucky House of Representatives

Steve Riley, who served for 31 years as a teacher, coach, and principal at Barren County High School announced that he filed to seek election to the 23rd District of the Kentucky House of Representatives. The 23rd District includes all of Barren County and part of Warren County.
During his 31 years at Barren County High, he served as a teacher for 12 years, as an assistant principal for 15 years, and as principal for four years. He also coached basketball at the high school for 19 seasons.
Riley is running as a Republican for the seat currently held by Incumbent Democratic Majority Whip Rep. Johnny Bell. Another Republican, Freddie Joe Wilkerson has also filed to run.
